About me?

Well...

I'm an 18-year-old with million opinions about things. I just want the world to see what I think. If they don't like it, well, go somewhere else.

I refuse to tell you where I live. I'm not stupid. Don't ask. If you don't know already, you don't need to know.

My name is also going to remain anonymous. See the previous sentences about my location.

I'm quite anti-Authoritarian. I'm also anti-Communist. I'm against all forms of discrimination. I'm against Scientology and extreme Feminism. I'm fine with equal rights, but not women are not superior. Neither are men.

Also, one may realise that not only do I use the Queen's English, but that I'm an Aspie. Yup. :) Proud of it, too.

No, this doesn't mean I'm super-duper sensitive. Don't let idiots tell you this. In fact, I have a bit of a hard shell, if you would.

In its current incarnation, America is pitiful. But then, every country has it's ups and downs. Germany and Nazism, for example. No, I'm not supportive of Hitler. Hitler can burn in hell for all eternity for all I care. The bugger deserves it.

Well, I guess I'm done. I can't think of anything else to say rigt now.

How to raise a child

I once heard one of the best quotes EVER, and it went a little something like this. "Innocence is ignorance in a pink, frilly dress." - Agnapostate, NYRA forums. Of course, I'm paraphrasing, I really can't remember, off the top of my head, the exact quote, but it was something VERY similar to that. And I agree. Why worry about innocence, when they're going to lose it anyway? It's like worrying about a car losing a loose part that it doesn't need. You might as well forget about it.

Children are going to be exposed to sex, drugs, etc. at one point or another. It's best to expose them to that kind of stuff the minute they can understand it. "When is that?", you may ask. I can give no definitive answer. It's better to get to know the child then judge for yourself. I can't give better advice than that. If you expose them to such things quicker, they'll shrug it off like it's nothing instead of acting like it's cool in the future. After all, people crave what they cannot have. "But, Rob, what if my 6-year-old baby starts doing drugs, drinking beer, and has sex with his girlfriend next door?"

First off, what is your 'baby' doing having a girlfriend at 6 years in the first place? I'm fine with young love, but that is most definitely much too young. (I'm fine with, like, 13-year-olds, but 6? Nah.) Second, you tell him about 'the birds and the bees' and he'd be all "EWWWWWW!!!!!". Let him try a cigarrette and he'd cough his little brains out, never wanting to smoke one again. And beer? One sip and he'd hurl his stomach out. "No more beer for me!", he'd say.

These are facts. Google them if you wish. No 6-year-old is consentually sexually active. Their bodies aren't ready for it anyway. No more fallacies for you, reader. But now you're probably thinking, "CHILD ABUSER!!!". No, dimwit. I'd never do any of this to real children. They get abused enough. They needn't have anymore. I'm an opponent of spanking and such nonsense. You raise a child with violence, he's bound to become violent himself. Show him/her what ways there are, tell them the pros and cons of each path, and, ultimately, in a well-thought-out decision, he/she will pick his/her own path, and follow it the rest of his/her life.

There are really only a few children who need a spanking. I could probably name a few, but that would break my terms you agreed to by arriving here. I'm not going to do that. Personal information here remains personal. (I'm not that corporate guy who goes and sells your name and other information to telemarketer or some stupid crap like that.) But back to the topic at hand, child-rearing.

Hitting a child is useless and meaningless to a positive child development. It's best to educate them, not to leave them ignorant.

Autism = Rape and Murder?!

There is a link there that says that Autistic boys are more likely to rape a girl because Autistics see girls as objects.

NOT THE CASE! On the contrary, I can tell you myself, from an Autistic mouth, that I couldn't care less about sex. Why they say this, I've not the slightest clue. What's their deal? Did someone who happened to have Autism rape them? If that did truly occur, I'm sorry to hear abbout it, but it doesn't give you a free pass to go off and make up stupid crap like this that drops the I.Q. of the general population! It's like saying that all black people like chicken. I seriously doubt every black person likes chicken. But then again, a lot of people, black or not, like chicken, myself included.

But now I'm going off-topic, moving on. Seriously, wut? MAYBE, and that's a VERY BIG MAYBE, low-functioning Autistics could do this, but it's not like they know what they're doing half the time. As a high-functioning Autistic, I can say this. I do not care how sexual you dress, if you want to whore yourself out, fine by me, but you're not getting my attention. Besides, women (And men, too.) who dress like that really need to learn modesty and self-respect, in my humble opinion.

If you want to spout some crap like this, at least back it up, you idiot! Stop being such a troll and get over whatever problems and trauma you've had, and move on. Go, leave the Autistic community alone, pick on someone who needs a picking on, like the neo-nazis or the KKK. Those groups need a few trolls. Your profession would be greatly appreciated there. I would personally pay the person in the facebook in that thread to go troll racist and in general, intolerant groups like those previously mentioned.

This is absolute proof that people in previous rant, Autism and Discrimination, do exist. I rule, you suck, end of discussion.

Voting And You!

When people mention voting, they think, "Yeah, for the next president! Isn't that... Ummm... Mcbama guy running? I heard he's a terrorist. I heard he's a Muslim" and such nonsense as that. Funny how some adults tell kids to 'grow up' when they spread these kinds of rumours around. The funny thing is, I bet there's quite a few registered voters out there who think that, too.

Yes, I parodied some voters on this, because it's ironic. Those of us under 18 (Including myself, who is 17 at the time of this writing.) cannot vote, yet those of us as young as 14 pay taxes on our paychecks. Where is our representation? Wasn't this country founded on the basis of "No Taxation Without Representation"? You know, to get away from those 'God-awful Brits.' (/sarcasm) I've been preached to I don't know how many times about this country's history from 1750 to 1800 throughout my school 'career' and never is it mentioned that younger kids fought in the war that started this once-great country!

Then, until I read about it myself, no one told me about how Mr. Christopher Columbus FORCIBLY took the Natives' land (Which would eventually become America) and essentially treated them like property until their death. There are few people who deserve that fate (Bush, Hitler, etc.) and even that's pushing it. The British took the land from there until independence from Britians by the Americans was declared on July 4, 1776. We now celebrate this day as "Independence Day", which I believe to be fitting, really.

Especially since George Washington and all his buddies were slave owners. Didn't know that one, did you? Were the slaves freed? I seriously doubt it. Slaves are for lazy people who like sadism. That's why if I were in the 60's, I'd gladly join the civil rights movement DESPITE BEING WHITE. Yes, I know many white people helped the black people with the movement, but a movement could never have too many supporters. (Except maybe the neo-nazi movement, where one supporter is more than enough.)

Enough of that slavery nonsense, back to the voting subject.

Were the kids and teens who fought in the Revolutionary War able to vote? I'll give you three shots and a hint, the answer starts with an n. If you guessed no, you get a virtual cookie. ENJOY! Let's skip on ahead here and look at the more recent past. Today, the voting age is 18, you need to register, but otherwise, you can vote. I'd like to see that lowered, since people are complaining about low-voter turnouts anyway. What's the lower voting age going to do? Blow up the world? I seriously doubt it. 16 or 14 would be just a grand start.

"Wait, START? You mean...?" Yes, I mean that I believe any sort of voting age is nothing more than an abomination. (No, not an Obamanation.) Think about it, really. The worst that can happen is that no teen votes, a president is elected, and we can get on with our lives. The best result would be that lots of teens vote and a president is elected, and we still get on with our lives. Which one do you think is going to happen? I say it doesn't matter.

"But Rob, what about the fact that teenagers are too stupid to vote?" If you believe that garbage about brain studies and all that neat junk science, you probably are too stupid yourself to vote, and you probably will anyway. What's the difference if a teen does the same thing? Think! Here's a bit of political humour for you!

Q: How many idiots does it take to get Bush into office... Twice?
A: Oh, about 3 million.

Are teens really too stupid to go off, research the candidates, and check off a box in a ballot for the candidate they agree with the most? Is it really that bloody hard? I have my doubts. Especially with the invention called the internet, it shouldn't be *THAT* hard to find reading material about the candidates. Wikipedia is just one example, you could use Google and type in your favourite candidate, and probably get thousands of results, I guarantee it! Go ahead, do it right now! I dare you!

In short, the voting age should be lowered, preferably 0, but 16 is a good compromise until people begin to realise that teens have so much more potential if given the opportunity.

My Opinion on Censorship and Those Under 18

Oh boy, censorship. It's such a picky topic. People think that those under 18 need to be censored from certain words or scenes. Well, I can see the "Protect the Children" thing kicking in again. No, don't use fallacies like "I don't want 6-year-old doing X." or anything among those lines, because it isn't about that at all.

I'm talking about the First Amendment. Freedom of expression, freedom of thought, Freedom of Religion, Freedom to be us, really. However, the longer I'm in America, the more it seems that the Constitution becomes irrelevant. It's the very thing that started this country, so it better not die until America dies. (That will happen one day. Every civilization comes to an end at one point. That was true with many of the Native Americans, sadly, and many other civilizations as well.)

Also, I see schools ignore more and more of the Constitution as we go on. Dress codes, uniform policies, limits on hair styles and apparel, etc. Enough. I say, in my opinion, that schools should lay off the rules a bit. An earring doesn't equal criminal, after all. Instead, they should focus more on real issues, like finding bullies and punishing them, and making more intellect-appropriate work available for those of higher or lower intellect or those with learning disorders.

Furthermore, censorship on movies and television in general. It seems like most countries have more lenient laws on censorship than America does on it's movies and content in general. I've seen perhaps too many situations where a game in America would be M-rated, yet only rated with the equivalent rating of T or lower in Europe and Asia, especially true for Asian games.

Of course, censorship occurs worldwide, the place that seems to have it the worst is China, though. I mean, Manhunt was censored all through-out the world, but not only was the censored content uncensored with a code, the game sucked with or without the extra gore. Ok, cool, you can lop a man's arm off, but the story and graphics seemed outdated to me. :(

Now, after all of this, I say that censorship should be completely wiped from the face of the Earth. Forever, never to return.

Autism and Discrimination

Ah, Autism, something that is a nightmare for many a parent. There are many effects, but the most common one seems to be lack of social skills. However, this is not all that bad, and with a little therapy, can be fixed. Why do I know so much about Autism and a few of it's effects?

Long story short, I've Asperger Syndrome, a form of Autism moderately high up on the spectrum. Furthermore, I've done more than my fair share of research on Autism and Asperger's. What I do know about Asperger Syndrome is that while it affects social skills, it also affects interests, and limits them. Like for me, for a while, my only interest was video games, but now my interests include technology in general and foreign cultures, especially European and Asian cultures. Asperger's also causes one to have bad fine motor skills, thus leading to things like sloppy handwriting. This doesn't mean however, that everyone with horrid handwriting is Autistic. This can easily be fixed by typing things instead of writing things out in school, if the teacher allows it. If the teacher doesn't allow it, explain the situation to him/her, and perhaps they'll understand. And while not every teacher will understand, the bunch I've had for the past 5 years or so do or did understand. Also, Autism does not make one stupid, just more focused when it comes to food, interests, and friends. In fact, my I.Q., last I checked it, was 135.

Now you may be wondering why I explained this to you. Well, this is the topic of my rant. On too many occasions have I seen discrimination based on nothing more than this one thing the person has. Autism has been used time and time again to prevent one from getting jobs, getting a decent education, or perhaps pretty much anything, depending on where you live. But judging someone based on the fact that they're Autistic is like judging a black man due to his race. It's an attribute we cannot exactly help, so tolerate or leave. Autism is not a habit, it's not something us Autistics can change. It just is.

Many people claim Autistics aren't hired as much because they require structure. True, Aspies like myself especially need a bit of structure. It helps if we don't have to move around everywhere. It helps if we stick with a routine. Many jobs have structure but many Autistics aren't hired anyway, simply because of their neurodifferences. That's right, I don't consider Autism to be a syndrome to be cured or a disease to be rid of, no, I consider it to be a neurological difference, and nothing more.

Furthermore, we can easily be put into seperate classes in school without putting us with, and mxing us in with, the kids and teens with REAL learning disorders.

What I ask is not that we Autistics be treated like gods, but to be treated like you would another average human being.

I know I just covered this, but isn't there a law in Amerca that inexplicitly says that it's discrimination if one is denied a job or a decent education due to disability or something like that? Oh yeah, THERE IS. I'mma calling my lawyer...

Take your thoughts on things into consideration, if expressed in a polite and intelligent way.
Read over your grievances ASAP, and if legitimate, will be taken care of ASAP.
Tolerate disabilities*, if within a reasonable level. Do not curse at me with the spelling and grammar of a 3-year-old just because you were slightly offended.
Tolerate age differences, and treat the mature kids and teens like adults. If this is a problem, then go away, you're not forced to be here.

Make unkindly fun of other people

Threaten in any other way, besides legal threats to take one to court, if need be

*When I say disability, I mean stuff like mental retardation, Autism, Tourettes syndrome, etc. Stupidity does NOT fall under disability. It falls under laziness and unwillingness to learn. If you act stupid, and have no disability, I will simply laugh at you, and B& you. N00b.

1Q. So, Rob, what is the intended age group for this site?
1A. There is none, my intended audience consists of those that bother to come here and read whatever I write. It is my official standing that I shouldn't have to censor myself for younger children, if you want them to live well in the real world, they must be exposed to it. Laws to "Protect the children" do more harm than good, IMHO. This is also why I do not have to comply with COPPA, unless a government official can give a legit reason, within COPPA itself, that I should follow COPPA, I'll not. Google COPPA and read it's full text. Perhaps you'll see why I don't comply, nor do I have to, comply.

2Q. B-b-b-but Rob, think of the children!
2A. I have, and I think that children could easily be respected like the average adult and could take on adult responsibilities, if given the opportunity to do so. Of course, age restrictions come into play, and people get angry at me. Fine, make a comment about it down below, I may read it and take it into consideration, if I find it to be a legitimate problem. Otherwise, I'll just consider you a troll. Have a nice day.

3A. As far as I know, there are none here. If you do catch one from here, I DID NOT SET IT UP, AS I KNOW NOTHING ON THE CREATION OR DISTRIBUTION OF VIRUSES.

1. Do not flame ANYONE under ANY circumstances. EVAR!
2. Do not troll. If someone responds to a troll, well yhbt, and there isn't much I can do. DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. Trolls are idiots who do nothing but cause trouble. Dissenters are not trolls. EVAR. Dissenters will be much more open-minded than a troll.
3. Be open-minded. Take what I say and think it over. I'm not saying that my opinion is godly, I'm saying that everyone has different opinions, and those should be considered.
4. No porn. Seriously. Google is your friend if you're that lonely. JUST! NOT! HERE!

Today, the website was created due to boredom, and perhaps a little anger. Plus, I feel like I am not allowed to express myself that much otherwise. I've created a policies page, as well as a rather large warning and disclaimer on the front page. I don't think too many people would read it though, so I bet that'll lead me to a lot of laughs. Especially from idiots that should know how to read, but don't, but can function pretty well otherwise. I might rant about idiots and ignorance later. I might feel like adding a links page, just for teh lulz. Also, all pages are locked until I promote them to writers, however, you may comment till your eyes bleed. All I ask is that you comment with an open mind. Thank you all.
